Job-a-matic by Simply Hired
I've been at work for the past 2 weekends. Just this past Friday, I was given a mission critical task to ensure a buzz worthy product launch and spent an average of 16 hours each day at the office for 5 days in a row. Even so, I've managed to squeeze in a couple of hikes with my weekly hiking club and a birthday dinner with Steve. These diversions were key in helping me to maintain my sanity and optimism.
I stayed up until 4:30 this morning to participate in Simply Hired's beta release of Job-a-matic and I must say I haven't experienced such satisfaction in a long, long while. Matt described it most accurately when he said it reminded him of his college days... only, it wasn't a charade for good grades, which made it even more satisfying.
I love the robot, he's so cute.
You can even see his space ship take off and land on the moon as you go through the account sign-up process.
Cute! Cute! Cute!
In fact, I was so happy and excited that when my alarm clock went off at 8:00 AM this morning, I couldn't fall back asleep. I looked terrible from my 3.5 hours of sleep so I didn't go in to the office. Instead I worked from home until I looked up at 6:00 PM and realized I hadn't moved from my spot and managed to skip lunch in the process.
In a bout of Kool-Aid (and apple pie) induced delirium, I even signed up for my own Job-a-matic account.
Now I proudly present to you, my Canadian Expatriates Job Board. Talent seekers may post 30-day job listings to Canadian Expat Jobs for only $5. You too can get a job site for your blog at Job-a-matic!
